Adam Bray comes to the University of Maryland track and field teams as a volunteer assistant coach from the University of Akron. His main focus will be with both the men's and women's cross country and middle-distance and distance runners.
Bray was a member of the University of Akron track and field and cross country teams from 2000-2005 where he was a four-year letterwinner and captain.
He spent a year as the graduate assistant for the Zips during the 2005-2006 seasons. During that time, the Zips won the Mid-American Conference cross country, indoor and outdoor track team titles.
Bray graduated from the University of Akron in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in education, and went on to receive his master's degree from Akron in sports science in 2006. Originally from Ohio, he currently resides in Rockville, Md.
