Lowe Cracks Top-10 List at Summer Event

COLTS NECK, N.J. - Sean Lowe, a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland, cracked the school's top-10 list with his finish recently at the New Jersey International track and field meet.

Lowe ran 46.98 in the men's 400-meter dash to place second in the event but first in his heat. Troy McIntosh of the Bahamas National Team won theother heat at 46.59.

Lowe's time moved him into seventh place on the all-time list in the men's 400 at Maryland.

He will join Dominic Berger and Toni Aluko this weekend at a U.S. Junior meet in Carson, Calif., with berths on the line for the U.S. Junior National Team which will compete this summer.
