2013 INDOOR TRACK - Personal and team season-best time in the 1,000 meters at Nittany Lion Challenge (2:53.82)...Mark ranks 6th all-time at Maryland... Finished 3rd with an ECAC qualifying time...Season best and ECAC qualifying mark in the 800 meters in the preliminary round at ACC Championships (2:12.03)...Finished 11th at event... Recorded 8th-best time in Maryland history in the event... Season best mile time at Night at the Armory (5:12.29) to finish 7th... Member of the first place 4x800 relay team at Night at the Armory with an ECAC qualifying time (9:10.07)...Relay is 4th best in Maryland history...Member of the distance medley relay in its season best finish at ACC Championships (11:44.74)... 2012 CROSS COUNTRY - Finished 2nd on the team at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional despite running in only two events in 2012... Placed 76th overall at regional in 22:31 over 6K course as Terps finnished 13th as a team...Also competed at Lehigh Paul Short Run, finishing 5th on the team in 23:02.

2012 OUTDOOR TRACK - Season best mark in the 800 came with 2:12.48 to finish 3rd at the Kehoe Twilight...Also ran the event at the Maryland Invitational...Finished in 5th place (2:15.74)...Ran the 1,500 at the UCF Invitational...Finished in 7th place (4:44.00)... Part of the 4X800 relay team that finished 1st at the ECAC Championships finals (8:44.98)...Team holds the Terps record for fastest time.

2011 OUTDOOR TRACK - Second-fastest on the team at 3,000 meters, going 4:42.53 to place 6th at the UCF Invitational... Posted her season-best 800 of 2:18.83 at the Colonial Relays.

2011 INDOOR TRACK - Second-fastest mark on the team in the mile of 5:08.14 came at the N.Y. Armory... Finished 8th in 1,000 meters at Nittany Lion Challenge in 2:59.01... Season-best 800 of 2:23.23 came at the Terrapin Indoor Invitational... Ran first leg of distance medley relay that posted season-best mark of 11:51.58 and placed 7th at ACC Indoor... Also ran on top 4x800 relay team for Terps that went 9:17.01 at the N.Y. Armory.

2010 CROSS COUNTRY - Only Terrapin to run in all six events during season... Had top-20 finish in collegiate debut, placing 15th overall and first Terp to the line at the Mount St. Mary's Duals (20:07.8) over 5K... Scored for Maryland at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, placing 128th overall with 23:28 clocking over 6K course... Was 35th in Open Division race at Lehigh Paul Short Run, going 23:24 over 6K... Also went 23:24 over 6K at the Penn State National... Placed 99th overall at the ACC Championships at BC, running 23:26.9 on 6K course.

BEFORE MARYLAND - National Honor Society member at Winston Churchill HS in Potomac... Twice a member of All-America relay teams in DMR and 4x800... All-Montgomery County honoree in cross country as a junior and indoors in the 800... Holds Churchill school records in 800 (2:16), 1,600 (5:06) and 4x800 (9:22)... Finished 9th at 4A regionals as a senior in cross country as Bulldogs went on to finish 7th as a team... Finished 2nd in 1,600 at track regionals and was second at county meet in 800... Bulldogs were 4th as a team at states in 2010... Second in 800 at indoor state meet in 2009... Also posted a pre-Maryland PR of 19:08 at 5K. 

PERSONAL - Daughter of Abdelmajid and Batoul Fikri... Has two older brothers, Omar and Anwar... Majoring in biology with a minor in Arabic... Visited Morocco for a summer... Worked on improving her mile speed during the summer... Hopes to be a pediatrician after college... Steve Prefontaine is her sports hero and Barack Obama is her non-sports hero... Pretended to be Mia Hamm while growing up as a kid... Chose Maryland over Miami.
