2007 CROSS COUNTRY - All Mid-Atlantic Region runner by virtue of her 17th-place individual finish at the NCAA Regional at Lehigh... Maryland's top runner in that event with a time of 20:47 over 6K... Had Maryland's lone individual victory of the season, placing first at the Leopard Invitational at Lafayette, going 20:39.0 over 6K to help Terrapins win the team title... Time was Maryland's best 6-kilometer mark of the season... Also posted Maryland's top finish at the Navy Invitational (third overall in 22:05) and the ACC Championship (18th overall at 21:51.5).
2007 OUTDOOR TRACK - Placed 12th at the ACC Championships in the 10,000 meters with an ECAC-qualifying time of 36:23.83... competed in the 1,500 meters at the Navy Invitational where she placed seventh with a time of 4:50.15... finished 13th at the Maryland Invitational, finishing in 4:51.34.

2006 CROSS COUNTRY - Turned in a dominating season, placing first on the team in the Terp's first six races of the year before sitting out the season finale due to injury... opened the season with a second-place overall finish at the 5k Great Meadows Invitational and a time of 18:27.5... placed third overall out of 316 runners with a time of 21:17.1 at the Spiked Shoe Invitational... finished fifth overall at the Tribe Invitational with a time of 22:05.2... earned a 15th overall finish out of 349 runners at the Chile Pepper Invitational, which featured tough competition from around the country... placed 18th overall at the ACC Championships with a time of 22:01.8 and 23rd overall at the NCAA Regional (21:21.0).
2006 OUTDOOR TRACK - Was the ACC Champion in the 10,000 meters, after she ran an ECAC-qualifying time of 35:39.38 in the event... also placed fifth at the ACC Championships in the 5,000 meters with an ECAC and NCAA Regional qualifying time of 16:35.72... ran a 16:51.55 at the ECAC Championships, which was good for a fourth-place finish... placed second at the Duke Invitational with a time of 16:44.75... also placed third in the 1,500 meters at the Maryland Invitational with a time of 4:35.57.
2006 INDOOR TRACK - Had the Terps' top times in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters... her time of 9:41.83 placed her 11th at the ECAC Championships in the 3,000 meters... placed ninth at the ACC Championships with a time of 9:46.93... had a time of 16:32.95 in the 5,000 meters at the New Balance Collegiate, which met the NCAA provisional and ECAC qualifying marks... placed second at the ACC Championships with a time of 16:36.59... also qualified for the ECAC Championships in the mile, when she ran a 4:57.27 at the Liberty Invitational and placed third.
2005 CROSS COUNTRY - Missed the team's first four competitions due to injury... made season debut at the ACC Championships, where she placed 55th overall in 21:11.20... finished second on the team (29th overall) at NCAA Regionals with a time of 21:35.30... came in 30th overall at ECAC meet, helping the Terps to a second-place finish.
2005 OUTDOOR TRACK - Had Maryland's top mark in the 5,000 meters with 16:50.41 to finish eighth at ACC Championships... mark qualified her for ECAC Outdoor, where she was 21st... won the Navy Invitational 5K and was 16th in the championship bracket at the Penn Relays... also had season-bests of 4:46.52 (1,500) and 10:29.34 (3,000).
2005 INDOOR TRACK - Set school records at 3,000 (9:40.86 to place 8th at ECAC Indoor) and 5,000 (16:49.33 to place 5th at ACC Indoor)... finished 11th at ACCs at 3K with 9:54.25 mark... finished 9th at ECAC Indoor 5,000 at 16:52.95.
2004 CROSS COUNTRY - Was the team's top finisher in her first five races of 2004... had three consecutive second-place finishes to start the season, posting her best 5k time (18:19.03) at the Mount St. Mary's Duals... finished 27th overall at the Penn State Invitational and 28th at the ACC Championships.
2004 OUTDOOR TRACK - Did not compete for the Terps.
2004 INDOOR TRACK - Posted the team's best time in the 5,000 meters, running 17:19.03 to win the Penn State Invitational... had the team's sixth-best time in the 3,000 meters, running a 10:13.59 to win the Delaware Invitational... ran the first leg of the distance medley when it posted season-best 11:56.68 to take second at the Patriot Games.
BEFORE MARYLAND - Won varsity letters in cross country and track at Normal Community West HS in Normal, Ill. ... placed in the top 30 in state cross country competition all four years ... holds Illinois record for the 3-mile (16:53) ... four-time Intercity winner in track and cross country and three-time conference winner in cross country ... named Nike Athlete of the Week in 2003 ... member of the student council.
PERSONAL - Daughter of Peggy and Curt Braffet ... has two sisters, Kristen and Kayla ... chose to attend Maryland because of the campus, academics, coach, team members, facilities and enormous potential.
