As a redshirt senior (2014): Has started in all 18 games so far this season...made three saves in Terps' opener vs. #10 Massachusetts (Aug. 29)...recorded back to back shutouts wins in the Terrapin Invitational over Drexel (Sept. 13) and #16 Temple (Sept. 14)...made two saves to hold #14 Michigan scoreless for the Terps' third shutout of the season (Sept. 26)...made a save and held #18 Michigan State scoreless for her 50 minutes in goal (Sept. 28)...notched four saves in Terps' 6-0 win over Ohio State (Oct. 3)...added five saves in 3-1 win over #18 Old Dominion (Oct. 5)...named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 7)...notched a career-high 10 saves in 4-3 win over #4 Penn State (Oct. 10)...made three saves in first half in 9-0 rout of Penn (Oct. 12)...added four saves on five shots on goal in 8-1 win over Princeton (Oct. 15)...made two saves to preserve team's sixth shutout of the season vs. Rutgers (Oct. 19)...picked up five saves in Terps' 4-1 win over No. 14 Iowa to win Big Ten title (Nov. 1)...named to the All-Big Ten Second Team (Nov. 5).

As a redshirt junior (2013): Saw action in seven games and started in two...made first career start vs. #20 New Hampshire and recorded three saves in her half in goal (Aug. 31)...played final 20 minutes vs. #17 Drexel and made a save (Sept. 8)...picked up two saves in second half in goal vs. Columbia (Sept. 14)...made two stops in 22:29 in goal in second half vs. Miami (Ohio)...started and played 46:53 vs. Hofstra...made two saves in that game to preserve a shutout (Oct. 8)...played 31:58 and made three saves in Terps' 9-0 win over Georgetown (Oct. 27)...member of 2013 ACC Championship team...received the Dina Rizzo Award, along with Tapman at the team's annual banquet, an honor that is not given every year, but only when athletes deserve it, for those that lead by example with passion and commitment to winning...named to ACC Honor Roll.

As a redshirt sophomore (2012): Saw action in nine games - vs. #15 Ohio State, #19 UMass, Dartmouth, against #18 Boston College, against Temple, vs. UC Davis, vs. Towson, vs. Rutgers and vs. #22 Duke in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals...made first career start vs. UC Davis (Oct. 14)...recorded at least a save against #15 Ohio State (Sept. 2), against #19 UMass (Sept. 8) and vs. UC Davis (Oct. 14)...notched a three saves to help preserve Terps' come-from-behind win over #18 Boston College (Sept. 14)...notched a career-high six saves in the second half alone vs. Temple (Sept. 30)...had four saves vs. UC Davis (Oct. 14)...started vs. Rutgers and notched two saves off the Scarlet Knights' four shots (Oct. 26)...started in ACC Tournament Quarterfinals vs. #22 Duke and notched three saves (Nov. 1).

Before Maryland: All-conference goalie for Greenwich High School...four-year varsity starter...two-time state champions and FCIAC champions...2009 team MVP and All-Region player...played lacrosse in 2008 and went to state championship in 2009...also played for Fairfield County United from 2008-10.

Personal: Brooke Catherine Cabrera...daughter of Joe and Debbie Cabrera...has three siblings, Katie, Tyler and Jim, who was an All-American in lacrosse at Middlebury...father played football at Columbia...chose Maryland for athletics and academics...enjoys riding horses and photography.
