2002: Co-captain … competed in all 11 of the Terps’ regular season meets and in the EAGL Championships on vault … competed on the floor exercise once … earned a season-high 9.750 on vault on Feb. 16 against Rhode Island … earned a 9.7 or higher on vault four times, including a 9.7 at the EAGL Championships … made the EAGL All-Academic Team for third straight year…three-time Academic All-American, Scholar Athlete Honor Roll and ACC Honor Roll.

2001: Competed in all 11 of Maryland’s regular season meets and both post-season meets … primarily competed on vault and beam, but competed on floor three times and in the all-around once … posted a career-high 9.9 on beam on Feb. 3 … earned a career- high 9.675 on floor on Feb. 3 … scored a career-high 9.775 on vault on March 11…named to the EAGL All-Academic team for the second consecutive year…received Academic All-American honors … named to Scholar Athlete Honor Roll and ACC Honor Roll.

2000: Competed in seven of the Terps’ 12 regular season meets and in the EAGL Championships … competed three times on vault and six times on beam … earned a then-career high 9.675 on vault at Michigan on Feb. 26 … earned a then-career high 9.825 on beam against Temple on March 10 … named to EAGL All-Academic team … Terp rookie of the year…named to Academic All-American team, Scholar Athlete Honor Roll and ACC Honor Roll.

Prior to Maryland: Set all Chelmsford High School records…captain in 1999…MVP for four years…MVC conference team member 1996-1999…Level 10 national competitor in 1999…three-time Boston Globe All-scholastic…high school All-American on beam, bars and all-around…at high school nationals placed fifth in the all-around, fifth on bars and third on beam.

Personal: Catherine Page Gardner … born May 29, 1981…daughter of Eileen and Thomas Gardner…was National Honor Society and French Honor Society member in high school…has one brother, Michael and one sister, Lauren …majoring in biology.
