2006: Was expected to contribute only on balance beam, but emerged as a crucial part of the Terps' balance beam, uneven bars and floor exercise lineups...injured hamstring early in the season, missing two meets but returned to see scores increase weekly on beam and floor...scored a 9.7 or higher in the last six meets of the season, including a career-high 9.85 against George Washington on March 7...scored a season-high 9.725 and tied for ninth place on balance beam at EAGL Championships...earned EAGL All-Academic honors...named Rookie of the Year at the team banquet.

Prior to Maryland: Had wrist surgery in December...a member of Parkettes Gymnastics...2002 Junior International Elite...placed 2nd on beam, floor and all-around at 2002 Dragon Invitational...qualified to J.O. Nationals in 2000 and 2001...finished in second-place on beam and floor and third in all-around at Level 10 regionals in 2001...region 3 level 10 State Champion in 2000...recruited by Pittsburgh, Penn State, New Hampshire and Boise State.

Personal: Daughter of Judy and Mitchell Loew...has a brother, Eric... Plans to major in pre-law...Lists Shannon Miller as her favorite athlete for her determination and had the privilege of working out with her.
