2006: Emerged as an all-around gymnast, qualifying for NCAA Regionals in that event...scored a career-high 39.25 to win all-around vs. Temple on Feb. 26...placed first or second in all-around in four meets this season, including a first-place finish against George Washington on March 7...named first team All-EAGL on balance beam and second team All-EAGL in all-around...honored with the Most Improved Gymnast Award at the team banquet.

2005: Competed vault, uneven bars and beam and appeared in 12 meets... scored season-high 9.875 on beam and posted 9.80 on uneven bars at Maui Invite...named EAGL Specialist of the Week for performance at Maui Invite...notched season-high 9.825 on uneven bars at EAGL Championships on March 25 ...named an NCAA regional alternate on balance beam.

2004: Competed vault, bars and beam for Terps and appeared in all 14 meets...posted season-best 9.90 on beam vs. Stanford on March 6, tying for third place...placed second on beam on Feb. 14 vs. Iowa with a 9.875...posted a 9.850 on beam three times, most recently at NCAA Regionals on April 3...scored season-notched season-high 9.850 on vault at Terps' opening meet at Ohio State, tying for fourth place...placed second on vault at Rutgers on Feb. 28...season-high bars score of 9.825 was posted at EAGL Championships on March 20.

Prior to Maryland: Attended Bay Shore High School in Brightwaters, N.Y., and competed for Infinity/Gold Medal Gymnastics Center ... was the 2001 Junior Olympic National Champion in all-around, balance beam and floor exercise... took fourth all-around at the 2001 Junior Olympic Regional Championships...also in 2001, took first all-around at the Bahama Breeze Invitational and New York State Championships and second all-around at the Gym Dog and Capital Cup 2000, competed in the U.S. Classic in Reno, Nev....was a four-time elite international competitor...transferred to Maryland from the University of Michigan....majoring in criminology.

Personal: Daughter of Lyn Lore-Colon and Raymond Colon...has two brothers, Nicholas and Zachary...chose Maryland over Nebraska, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Arizona State.
