COLLEGE PARK, Md. - For the fifth consecutive season and 19th time overall, the No. 24 Maryland gymnastics team is set to compete in NCAA Regional Championships. The Terps travel to Florida to compete in the Gainesville Regional on Saturday, April 6 at 6 p.m.

In addition to Maryland, the field includes No.1 Florida, tied-No. 12 Minnesota and Auburn, Bridgeport and Pittsburgh. The top two finishers in the region qualify for the NCAA Championship at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, Calif., on April 19-21.

Six teams, five all-around competitors (who are not on a qualifying team) and one individual event specialist per event [who has a minimum Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) of 9.4] were named to each of the six predetermined host sites.
