As a Senior in 2016: First Team All-Big Ten...guided the Terps to a third straight Big Ten tourney title and fourth conference tournament championship overall...also helped match a school-record with five consecutive shutouts (9/23-10/10)...finished the year with one goal and six assists...notched an assist in a 5-0 win over Hartford (8/29)…Assisted on one goal during a 4-1 victory over USF (9/5)…recorded an assist in a 2-0 shutout win over #22 Michigan State (9/23)…assisted on a goal in a 3-2 overtime win against Wisconsin to clinch the Big Ten title (10/14)…scored a goal at Michigan to preserve Maryland's unbeaten regular season (10/30)...notched an assist vs. Michigan in the Big Ten quarterfinals (11/6).

As a Freshman in 2013: Played a key role in solidifying the backline in 2013...anchored the center  back position with fellow rookie Suli Dainkeh...pair took over during the match against Virginia and went team went 12-2-1 thereafter...helped hold opponents to 1.19 goals per game...Terps racked up eight shutouts in 2013...started in 20 matches, seeing action 25...scored first career goal against VCU (9/8).

Before Maryland: Member of AB Bethesda for six years... won the 2011 national championship... named All-WCAC Player of the Year, All-County Player of the Year and First Team All-Met in 2012... tabbed First Team All-WCAC, All-County, and All-Met in 2011... named Third Team All-WCAC in 2010... high school team finished 16-1-1 in 2012... tallied nine goals and seven assists in 2012.

Personal: Christopher Odoi-Atsem was born May 28, 1995 in Howard County... son of Ablade and Pamela Odoi-Atsem...siblings are Steven and Leslie... high school coach was Dafydd Evans... came to Maryland because of its ‘academic reputation and outstanding soccer program’...major is business.
