As a Senior in 2005: Skilled keeper with a big leg ... a team leader ... five saves in the win over Virginia Tech (11/4) ... started against NJIT (10/26) and recorded the shutout ... played 45 minutes and made one save to help preserve shutout against Georgetown (10/11) ... allowed one goal and made two saves in starts against Penn State (9/21) and NC State (9/25) ... back-to-back shutouts against No. 12 Virginia Commonwealth and No. 12 Clemson ... excellent second half against No. 5 Santa Clara (9/9) finishing the game with five saves ... defensive MVP of Maryland/adidas Classic for perfornances against the Rams and Broncos ... made five saves in first half against No. 4 UCLA (9/4).

As a Junior in 2004: Solid backup and team leader ... saw action against Long Island (9/3), Marshall (9/5) and Loyola (9/14) and Penn State (10/14), not allowing a goal in any of those games ... stopped a career-high four shots against the Thundering Herd.

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2002: Valuable backup keeper ... allowed just one goal and made six saves in 252 minutes of work ... made two starts, winning and earning a shutout in both games ... earned his first career appearance in relief of starter Noah Palmer against Rhode Island (8/30) for 35 minutes ... got his first career start against Manhattan (9/25), earning his first career win and shutout ... also saw time vs. George Mason (10/19) and started vs. Mount St. Mary's (11/8) ... shut out the Mountaineers, stopping one shot in 112 minutes.

As a Freshman in 2001: Saw no game action behind Terps' junior keeper Kevin Schmidt and eventual starter and fellow classmate Noah Palmer.

Before Maryland: A four-year starter at Lakota East High School, Salvati played every minute of all 81 games ... the Cincinnati player of the year, he owns the state of Ohio's record for career shutouts (42) and consecutive minutes (6480) ... a co-captain, he was named the MVP at Lakota East as well as being named first-team all-state and all-county his senior year on the way to the regional championship ... a Greater Miami Conference (GMC) academic all-league pick, he was also named the Fairfield Ford player of the week and the Butler County player of the year his senior year ... his junior year, earned honorable mention GMC honors, was a starter for the U-18 ODP state team and went to the Ohio Final Four ... a member of the U-19 Ohio Thunder Club soccer team, he was also a part of the Dayton Gemini PDL soccer team ... in basketball, was named the Lakota East Best defensive player and named to the GMC all-academic team ... kicked a 55-yard field goal, a Lakota East school record ... he was second-team All-GMC for football, the MVP at the Cross-town Showdown, and earned the Lakota East Iron Man Award.

Personal: The son of Ron and Tari Salvati, his name is Ronald Craig Salvati ... he has two older sisters, Cara and Tari ... in his free time, Salvati enjoys fixing up cars, as well as playing basketball and football ... majoring in engineering.
