Sasho Cirovski has announced former goalkeeper Will Swaim has been hired as director of operations, effective immediately.

Swaim helped the Terps win the national championship in 2008 in addition to a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference titles in 2008 and 2010. The Ellicott City, Md., native, finished his career with a stellar 24-9-5 record and 12 shutouts. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in public policy and was recently accepted into the MBA program at Maryland.

"I am extremely pleased to bring on Will as our new director of soccer operations," Cirovski said. "Will had a great career as a student-athlete and over the last few years was one of our key leaders. He was a huge part of our success during his entire career. He is incredibly vested into all things Maryland Soccer. I couldn't be happier to have Will come aboard!"

Swaim, who replaces Matt Burke as the second director of operations in program annals, was an All-State selection at Howard High School. He earned bachelor's degrees in history and communication in 2011.
