WASHINGTON, D.C. - Six different players scored a goal as the Maryland Terrapins handled Georgetown, 6-0, Tuesday afternoon at North Kehoe Field. The Terps won their fourth-straight game and improved to 26-0-0 all-time against the Hoyas.

"We were well prepared for Georgetown because we have tremendous respect for them," head coach Sasho Cirovski said. "We took advantage of some early chances and I think that took a little bit out of them."

Maryland (9-3-0) jumped on the Hoyas early with three goals in the game's first 12 minutes. Jason Garey got the Terps started with his 12th goal of the season in just the fourth minute. Robbie Rogers played Garey through on a flick from the midfield for the assist. Stephen King hammered a 22-yard blast in the 10th minute and Maurice Edu collected a Garey pass in the box in the 12th minute to effectively put the game out of reach.

The Terrapins tacked on two more goals on scores from Robbie C'deBaca and Marc Burch for a 5-0 cushion heading into halftime. It was the first goal of the season for each player.

Georgetown (7-6-0) managed just four shots in the half, but had their best offensive opportunity stopped on a well executed slide tackle by A.J. Delagarza on a Hoya player in the box.

Maryland was able to utilize its roster in the second half and still maintained control of the game. Freshman Graham Zusi tallied Maryland's final goal after volleying C'deBaca's arching cross on a seven-yard blast.

The Terps managed a 23-7 advantage in shots in the game. Chris Seitz made two saves in the half before giving way to Craig Salvati. Salvati stopped three shots in the second half. The two combined for Maryland's sixth shutout of the year.

Maryland will return to Ludwig Field this Friday night to take on North Carolina at 8 p.m. The game will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel.
