As a freshman in 2013: Saw action in every game and started in 16...scored first career goal in 12th minute vs. #20 New Hampshire when she drove in from the right and scored to give the Terps a 2-0 lead...also notched two assists vs. the Wildcats (Aug. 31)...made first career start vs. #17 Drexel and scored with 30 seconds left in the half (Sept. 8)...started vs. Miami (Ohio) (Sept. 15)...assisted on Sprink's goal in 14th minute in 2-0 win over Michigan (Sept. 22)...with 7:17 to go at #3 North Carolina, cracked a shot and Witmer deflected it in for the game-tying goal in Terps' OT win (Oct. 5)...with under seven minutes to play, fed Rissinger for the Terps' second goal in 2-0 win at American (Oct. 13)...scored with a backhanded shot in the 47th minute vs. Georgetown (Oct. 27)...scored Terps' final goal in 64th minute in 5-1 win at #7 Duke (Nov. 2)...member of 2013 ACC Championship team.

Before Maryland: Played for the Berliner Hockey Club for 14 won three German national championships in her career there...named best player on the German championship team as a was Vice-European champion on the Under-18 national team...member of German Under-21 squad.

Personal: Mieketine Hayn...daughter of Tania Hayn and Ranier Drumm...has four younger siblings, Finn, Philine, Jule and Marlene...came to Maryland for its excellent reputation in the hockey world and it is a great university...knew current Terrapins Sarah Sprink and Steffi Schneid prior to coming to the U.S....also love skiing and gymnastics.
