As a Sophomore (2011): Played in all 12 games along the offensive line including starts in six games at left guard ... has also seen action on special teams and as a reserve at right guard ... helped the offense rank third in the ACC in rushing (169.3 yards per game) and fourth in fewest sacks allowed (1.4 pg) ... replaced Andrew Gonnella (knee injury) at left guard during the fourth quarter of the Georgia Tech game (10/8) ... made his first start of the season against Clemson (10/15) and helped the team pile up a season-high 291 rushing yards ... helped the Terps not allow a sack for the fifth time this season against Notre Dame (11/12) ... part of an effort that allowed Maryland to rush for 229 yards while holding Wake Forest (11/19) without a sack.
