As a Freshman (2012): Saw action in eight games either on special teams or at running back … didn’t get a carry but contributed on special teams against William & Mary … rushed seven times for 50 yards including a long rush of 21 yards against Temple (9/8) … also caught one pass for 7 yards … led the team with 74 rushing yards on 14 carries (5.3 avg.) vs. Connecticut … also scored his first touchdown, a 19-yard run … led the team with 10 rushes for 27 yards vs. Wake Forest (10/6) … missed the Virginia game with a shoulder injury … rushed for a season-high 121 yards on 25 carries and scored a touchdown against NC State (10/20) … started at running back and rushed for 73 yards, including a 17-yard run, against Boston College (10/27) … started at running back against Georgia Tech (11/3) and recorded 38 yards on nine carries … missed the final three games of the season after suffering shoulder and ankle injuries.
