COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Maryland video coordinator Will Brown has been named the 2013-14 Atlantic Coast Conference Video Coordinator of the Year, as announced by the Collegiate Sports Video Association.

Brown was selected by a majority vote of his peers in the ACC to receive the Conference Coordinator of the Year honor. He is now a finalist for the prestigious Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual CSVA banquet on May 22, 2014.

Brown landed in College Park after spending two years as the assistant director of video services at the University of Connecticut.

Prior to his stint at UConn, he spent three years at Middle Tennessee State as the first full-time video coordinator in school’s history. He has also spent two years as an assistant video coordinator at the University of South Carolina.

Brown is a Georgetown, S.C., native and a 2004 graduate of Benedict College.
