As a Junior (2016): Appeared in 12 games, making 11 starts at left guard ... helped pave the way for a Maryland rushing offense that eclipsed 2,500 yards for the first time since 2003 ... helped Ty Johnson become the ninth 1,000-yard rusher in Maryland history ... led way for Maryland to score six rushing touchdowns against Howard (9/3) ... blocked for Ty Johnson’s 204-yard rushing performance vs. Purdue (10/1) ... helped Ty Johnson and Lorenzo Harrison both eclipse 100 rushing yards vs. Michigan State (10/22) ... blocked for Ty Johnson’s 142-yard rushing day at Indiana (10/29) ... helped Ty Johnson rush for 168 yards vs. Rutgers (11/26).
As a Sophomore (2015): Named Academic All-Big Ten ... started first three games at left guard before season was cut short to injury ... made first career start and helped Maryland gain 341 rushing yards against Richmond (9/5) ... pass protected for Caleb Rowe as he passed for 297 yards and two touchdowns against USF (9/19).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2014): An All-Big Ten Academic selection … appeared in the season opener against James Madison (8/30) … made his collegiate debut against the Dukes.
As a Freshman (2013): Missed the season due to injury.
At Severna Park High School: Played on both sides of the line for the Falcons … finished his senior campaign with 70 tackles, seven sacks and six forced fumbles … a Maryland Crab Bowl participant … a first-team all-county and second-team all-state selection … won the Al Larramore Award as the best lineman in Anne Arundel County … also played lacrosse as a prep … also recruited by Towson, Coastal Carolina and Harvard.
Personal: Son of David and Lisa Minter … came to Maryland because of his “unconditional love for the school” ... plays the guitar as a hobby ... majoring in kinesiology.
