Elder Grizzle Lands in Baltimore Lax Hall of Fame

BALTIMORE - Former Maryland All-American Betsy Elder Grizzle was inducted as a member of class of 2014 in the Greater Baltimore Chapter of US Lacrosse Saturday at the annual ceremony at the Hillendale Country Club.

Elder Grizzle joined Deanna Blood Sandstrom, Lauren Aumiller Cronin, Damien Davis, Mark Frye, Conor Gill, John Glatzel, Betsy Elder Grizzle, Kathleen Kaiser Kasabula, Kellie Thompson Shiley (posthumously) and Roger Tuck.

Elder Grizzle was an integral part of Maryland’s NCAA national championship squad in 1992.  She was tabbed the National Offensive Player of the Year in 1994 and was a three-time All-American. Elder Grizzle, who later served as an assistant coach with the Terps, was also a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference 50th Anniversary Team.
