Yep Named To All-ACC Academic Team

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland cross country student-athlete Becky Yep was named to the All-ACC Academic Team, which was announce by the Atlantic Coast Conference office on Tuesday.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

The junior from Ellicott City, Md., was the Terps' top finisher in each of the team's final three events, including the NCAA Regional meet at State College, Pa., and the ACC Championship meet at Blacksburg, Va.

Overall, there were 33 student-athletes on the cross country All-ACC Academic Team.
