COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Two University of Maryland wrestlers have been selected to participate in the 44th annual National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-Star Classic, held at Titan Gym on the campus of Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 22.

Steven Bell and Alex Krom, who were both ACC champions and All-Americans in 2009, have accepted invitations to participate in the prestigious all-star exhibition. Bell, ranked No. 4 in the country at 133 pounds, will take on No. 5 Daniel Dennis of two-time defending NCAA champion Iowa. Krom, ranked No. 3 in the nation at 141 pounds, will face off against Nick Gallick of Iowa State, who is ranked No. 2. Matches begin at 2 p.m.

The classic features exhibition matchups between top wrestlers from across the country in each weight division. Last year, Hudson Taylor became the first Terp to be selected to participate in the event since 1969. This is the first time in school history multiple wrestlers from Maryland have been invited to the event.
