COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The 13th-ranked Maryland wrestling team (12-0, 2-0 ACC) travels to Tobacco Road on Friday to take on North Carolina at 7 p.m. and closes the weekend at No. 22 Virginia on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Terps are looking to remain unbeaten in conference heading into the back half of the season.
Maryland earned a pair of dual victories last weekend against Navy and NC State. Against the Midshipmen, momentum swung in the Terps favor after 11th-ranked Kyle John pinned Bobby Barnhisel 1:24 into the match and gave Maryland a 13-6 lead.
Freshman Geoffrey Alexander put his stamp on the match against the Wolfpack. Alexander had three takedowns halfway through the first period and eventually won by technical fall over Ben Elliott to extend the Terps' lead to 8-0.
Live stats will be available and North Carolina All-Access will provide a live webcast of the dual against the Tar Heels.
The Terps are seeking their third straight dual victory over the Tar Heels and their sixth straight win over the Wahoos.

Corey Mock leads the team in wins with 22. The 18th-ranked wrestler at 157 is 9-3 in duals this season and 2-0 in conference duals.
Evan Henderson is second on the team in victories (21) with nine coming via fall. Henderson is currently ranked 20th at 141 and is 1-2 in ACC duals.
