Former Terrapin standout quarterback Scott McBrien begins his second season on the Maryland radio broadcast team as a sideline reporter.

McBrien, who started at quarterback for the 2002 and 2003 seasons, ranks highly among Terrapin greats.  McBrien signed with the Green Bay Packers where he spent two seasons following his time at Maryland. In 2006, he signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, where he played two seasons. 

Scott is still very involved in the community running quarterback camps throughout the year and teaching quarterbacks of all ages what it takes to make it to the “Next Level”. 

Scott currently works for a telecom brokerage firm, Converged Network Services Group (CNSG). He provides voice/data/conferencing services to businesses throughout the country and is also responsible for developing business and maintaining client relationships. 

Scott and his wife Claire Durante McBrien currently reside in Rockville, MD.
