As a Redshirt Junior (2016-17): Won eight matches at 157 pounds while becoming team’s primary starter during second half of the season…missed portion of the season due to injury…placed fourth at the Cleveland State Open (12/17)…won first match of the year over Princeton’s Mike D’Angelo (11/27)…defeated #20 John Van Brill of Rutgers, 7-4 (12/11)…won first three matches at Cleveland State Open before defaulting (12/17)…took out Northwestern’s Ben Sullivan, 7-1 (2/10)…defeated Willie Davis of Drexel 7-4 (2/18)…beat Michigan State’s Austin Thompson 6-3 at Big Ten Championships (3/4).

As a Redshirt Freshman (2014-15): Won 12 matches between 157 and 165 pounds…competed at the Big Ten Tournament at 165 and notched a win over Nicholas Visicaro of Rutgers (3/7)…defeated teammate Toby Hague to win the Messiah Open title at 157 (2/7)…competed at the Midlands Championships (12/29)…won three times, including twice by tech fall, at the Bearcat Open (11/9)…started the year with five straight wins including four at the season opening Terrapin Duals (11/2).

As a Freshman (2013-14): Amassed 22 wins in his debut campaign at 149 pounds including four by fall…opened his college career with a victory by fall over Dan Brennan of Bloomsberg at the Clarion Open (11/3)…won four matches at the Bearcat Open (11/10)…won two matches at the Cyclone Open (11/16)…captured three wins at the F&M Open (1/4)…finished the Shorty Hitchcock Open with five wins (1/19)…won the Messiah Open title with a win over Geoff Verallis of Drexel in the final (2/8)…finished the season with a 9-0 win over Hunter Hickman of VMI at the National Collegiate Open (3/2).

Before Maryland: Placed fourth at the 2013 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic League (WPIAL) AAA Wrestling Championships … a four-time WPIAL qualifier … a four-time Allegheny County placer … placed fifth at the 2012 Powerade Christmas Wrestling Tournament.

Personal: Biggest accomplishment is becoming a Division I wrestler...came to Maryland to wrestle with his brother and for the academic opportunities...sports hero is brother Geoff...hobbies include fishing...sports hero is Peyton Manning.
