As a Redshirt Junior (2014-15): Won seven matches at 149 pounds…won his opening match of the season against Alderson-Broaddus’ Jason West at the Terrapin Duals (11/2)…won a match at the TCNJ Open (11/22)…won three matches at the Wilkes Open (12/28)…won a match at the National Collegiate Open (3/1).
As a Junior (2013-14): served a redshirt season and went 7-7 in open competition at 141 and 149 pounds … started the season with three victories at the Clarion Open … gained a major decision victory over Davidson’s Alex Palinski at the Wolfpack Open … won two matches at the Messiah Open.
As a Sophomore (2012-13): Finished with a 19-15 record wrestling at 141 and 149 pounds...went 5-6 in dual competition with two wins in ACC duals...had seven bonus-point wins including four falls...placed third at the East Stroudsburg Open and placed fifth at the Wilkes Open...earned his first career dual win in an 8-3 decision over Nebraska's Skylar Galloway.
As a Freshman (2011-12): Went 17-13 at 133 pounds...tallied five wins by major decision and three wins by technical fall...recorded his first collegiate pin at the Clarion Open against Ryan Osleeb...placed fourth at the East Stroudsburg Open and Wilkes Open.
Before Maryland: Three-year letterwinner at Good Counsel High School in Olney, Md...helped Good Counsel win the 2011 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) championship...Maryland state and WCAC champion in 2011...Maryland state finalist in 2009-10...2011 national prep runner-up...three-time national preps all-american...bronze medalist at the 2010 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Championships...placed seventh at the 2009 Beast of the East.
