Terps Announce 2017 Signees

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland wrestling head coach Kerry McCoy announced the addition of five future Terrapins who have signed National Letters of Intent to wrestle at the University of Maryland next season.

“I'm very happy with our incoming guys,” said McCoy. “We have some of the best kids in the country coming in and they will definitely make us better. We’re looking forward to having them and some other newcomers join our program next season.”  

The group features All-Americans, state champions and wrestlers ranked nationally in their respective weight class. Read up on each future Terrapin below.

2016 New Jersey State Champion...two-time NJ State Placer (8th, 1st)...NHSCA Junior National Champion...2016 Super 32 Champion...2016 Journeymen Fall Classic Finalist...2015 Beast of the East Placewinner (4th)...Greco/Freestyle Fargo All-American...ranked 8th in the county at 160 pounds via InterMat Wrestling High School rankings.
