COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland field hockey team will meet Penn State in an out-of-season exhibition Friday at 5 p.m. at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex, the home of USA Field Hockey, in Lancaster, Pa.

The Terrapins and the Nittany Lions will meet to further improve as their spring schedule winds down.

Maryland assistant coach and former U.S. Olympian, Katie Bam, will be on the sidelines with the Terps.

"I'm looking forward to getting back to Lancaster, it has a feeling of home for me," Bam said. "I have a lot of amazing memories on this field and I'm looking forward to making more, just this time from a different role and with a new team. I think it goes without saying today is a big day for the Terps, and I'm looking forward to experiencing this with them."

Present U.S. National Team players and Terp alums Jill Witmer, Ali McEvoy, Anna Dessoye and Alyssa Parker support the Terps.
