COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Head coach Sasho Cirovski announced the Maryland men's soccer 2017 fall schedule Monday.
Cirovski – who is entering his 25th season at the helm of the program – has once again assembled one of the toughest schedules in the nation. Maryland won its third straight Big Ten Tournament title last season and its fifth consecutive.
“Once again we have put together another challenging schedule for our players and a very exciting one for our fans,” Cirovski said. “With the way our season ended last year, we can't wait to get started with 2017 campaign.”
The Terps kick off the 2017 slate with a trip out West where they will face Santa Clara on Friday, Aug. 25.
Maryland opens the home portion of its schedule when it welcomes Hofstra on Monday, Aug. 28 before battling UCLA Friday, Sept. 1. The Terps continue with their early-season Cali-theme when they take on Cal Poly on Sept. 4.
The Big Ten slate comes fast and furious as the Terps host rival-Indiana on Sept. 8 and Rutgers Sept. 12.
