Kocher Named to All-B1G Tourney Team

BALTIMORE, Md. – Senior David Kocher of the Maryland men’s golf team was named to the All-Big Ten Tournament Team Sunday after leading the Terps Sunday at the Five Farms Golf Course at Baltimore Country Club.

Kocher (Charlotte, N.C.) finished tied for fifth in the individual standings and made the All-Big Ten Tournament Team for the third time in his four years at Maryland. He finished with an overall score of 212 (69-68-75), which was two strokes over and tied for fifth in the standings.

Sophomore Peter Knade (Easton, Md.) finished tied for 18th with his combined score of 216 (71-72-73), which was six strokes over total. He finished in the top 20 in eight of the Terrapins’ 10 events this year.

Sophomore Bennett Buch (Sykesville, Md.) tied for 40th with his score of 222 (72-73-77) and junior Timothy Colanta (Reunion, Fla.) shot a 224 (75-70-79).

Sophomore Evan Santa (Edgewater, Md.) earned an overall score of 230 (75-75-80).
