"I'm happy with the way we closed out the weekend," head coach Daria Panova said. "It was important for us to have a strong weekend, and winning 12-of-14 matches between the two days is a credit to how the team played this weekend. We still have things to work on moving forward, but we're looking forward to starting Big Ten play with some momentum behind us."

Arnelle Sullivan and Saya Usui made quick work at the third doubles position, posting a 6-0 win to give Maryland a quick advantage.
