How was your first semester at Maryland?

My first semester at Maryland was great. I quickly learned that a lot would be expected of me in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the field. While there were some expected challenges as far as developing a new routine and managing my time, I feel as though I’ve done a good job learning to balance work and fun.

What attracted you to the University of Maryland?

Academics and school pride attracted me to the University of Maryland. I knew by attending Maryland I would be challenged academically, but I wouldn’t change a thing. In addition to numerous academic opportunities, the school pride is something that really interested me. The energy on game day in CP is great.

What is your favorite memory from playing softball?

My favorite softball memory is traveling with my mom. Even though I slept most of the time  (sorry mom) being able to spend time with her every weekend is something I will never forget. We had lots of fun visiting different states and binge-watching Netflix on long road trips.

How has it been getting to know your teammates?

Getting to know my teammates has been really fun. All of the returners made it a priority to help my class and the transfers get accustomed to the program. I think we mesh really well together.

Are you a good cook, what's your favorite thing to make?

I’m a pretty good cook. I like trying to make new things so I don’t really have a favorite.

What is your favorite thing about yourself?

My favorite thing about myself is my ability to make people smile. If someone isn’t having a good day or even if they are I can usually make them smile :)

What is the best vacation you have ever been on?

The best vacation I’ve ever been on was to Ocean City. When I was younger my family would go regularly during the summer and we always had fun playing mini golf and going to the beach.

If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing, what would it be?

If I could have an unlimited supply of anything it would be tickets to Nationals games or Crocs!

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?

My favorite thing to do on a day off is sleep and catch up on my shows.
