COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland men's lacrosse coach John Tillman has named the captains for the 2018 season: fifth-year seniors Dan Morris and Tim Rotanz and seniors Adam DiMillo, Connor Kelly and Bryce Young.

This year's group of five captains has pieced together an impressive collective resume prior to 2018, appearing in a combined 249 career games. All five players have been to the NCAA Final Four every season as a Terrapin, with the group of three seniors appearing in the NCAA finals all three seasons.

Morris is back for his second season as the Terrapins' starting goaltender after a remarkable All-America season in 2017 in which he made 200 saves and allowed 8.75 goals per game. Morris was particularly impressive during postseason play, holding 5-of-6 opponents under 10 goals. Morris is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and was also named to the NCAA and Big Ten All-Tournament teams in 2017.

Rotanz has appeared in 52 games and made 31 starts in his career, and is fresh off a season-best 33 goals and 44 points in 2017. The Wading River, N.Y., native was a Third Team All-America selection and was named to the NCAA and Big Ten All-Tournament teams in 2017.

DiMillo has appeared in 57 games during his three-year career, playing both short stick defensive midfield and offensive midfield. The West Seneca, N.Y. native has scored five goals in his career, with two of them memorably coming in the NCAA Championship game last season.

Kelly pieced together arguably the most impressive season for a midfielder in Maryland history last year, setting a midfielder program record with a team-best 46 goals. The Team USA candidate was a USILA First Team All-America selection, in addition to earning NCAA All-Tournament Team and Big Ten Tournament MVP. The Easton, Conn., native has appeared in a team-high 58 career games.

Young has steadily emerged as one of the top close defenders in the country over the course of his career and looks poised for a big senior season after an All-American campaign in 2017. A two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Young started all 19 games last season and totaled 38 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers.

The Terps are set to open the 2018 season Feb. 10 against Navy at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.
