COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football team and its supporters gathered at its annual team celebration and awards reception on Saturday night at the Riggs Alumni Center.
The voice of the Terps, Johnny Holliday, started the evening off with opening remarks and was followed by Maryland coaches presenting the individual awards.
Maryland Head Coach DJ Durkin concluded the evening by presenting the Ray Krouse Memorioal Award (Team MVP) to junior wide receiver DJ Moore. He also recognized the fourth quarter Champions and the players that were members of the Champions Club during all four quarters of the year.
Durkin concluded the night by thanking the seniors for what they've meant to the program.
"I want to say from the bottom of the my heart, thank you to our seniors," said Durkin. "I know you guys layed it on the line for this team. It's a humbling thing as the leader of this program to know the investement and the amount of time and care that was put into this program by all you guys. I want to say thank you and for you to know that I appreciate it."

James M. Tatum Memorial Award (Lineman of the Year): Derwin Gray
Public Service Award: Ellis McKennie
A.V. Williams Award (outstanding & conspicuous sportsmanship): Chandler Burkett
Alvin L. Aubinoe Unsug Hero Award: Derrick Hayward
