COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland baseball will contest its annual Fall World Series this week at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium.
The squads, known as the Old Liners and Aggies, will play Wednesday, Nov. 1, Thursday, Nov. 2 and Friday, Nov. 3. First pitch Wednesday is set for 7 p.m. with Thursday/Friday scheduled for 4 p.m., and the contests are free and open to the public.
All three games will be broadcast live by the Maryland Baseball Network.

Maryland enters 2018 after a 38-win season, the third most wins in school history. The Terps advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2017, their third in the last four seasons. All-Big Ten honorees Marty Costes and AJ Lee return along with Big Ten Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-American Tyler Blohm. First-year head coach Rob Vaughn will lead the program after being named to the post in 2017. The Terps' new look staff features hitting coach Matt Swope, pitching coach Corey Muscara, volunteer assistant Anthony Papio and student assistant Brandon Erbe.
