Saturday, Oct. 21 | 5:30 p.m.
The Terps host another top-10 opponent as No. 10 Michigan State comes to College Park Saturday. The teams will compete before the Maryland basketball teams' Maryland Madness, and admission is free!

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland volleyball team (14-6, 3-5 B1G) returns to the Pavilion to host No. 9 Wisconsin (13-4, 4-4) at 6 p.m. Wednesday on the Big Ten Network.

Wednesday is Maryland's annual Dig Pink match to support breast cancer awareness and research. Former Maryland head coach Janice Kruger is currently a director for the Side-Out Foundation, which annually fundraises for breast cancer research through volleyball. With four Samanthas on Maryland's roster, the Terps will host a Dr. Seuss night on Wednesday in honor of 'Sam I Am.' Anyone with Sam in their name (i.e. Samantha, Samuel) will receive free admission to the match!

Maryland's match vs. Wisconsin begins a grueling stretch for the Terps as seven of their next eight matches are against ranked opponents, including six against top-10 teams.

The Terps are coming off a 1-1 weekend in Illinois. Maryland came back from down 1-0 and 2-1 in the match to defeat Northwestern in a five-set thriller last Friday. Gia Milana (21), Angel Gaskin (11), Erika Pritchard (11) and Hailey Murray (10) each finished with double-digit kills against the Wildcats. Maryland fell at Illinois in three sets last Saturday.

Wisconsin is coming off wins over then-No. 4 Nebraska and Indiana. Freshman middle blocker Dana Rettke, who is 6-foot-8, leads the Badgers with 3.17 kills and 1.45 blocks per set.

The Terps will return to the XFINITY Center main arena on Saturday to host No. 10 Michigan State. The Terrapins and Spartans will compete at 5:30 p.m. before the Maryland basketball programs' host their annual Maryland Madness. Admission to Saturday's match is free.

Maryland went 11-1 in nonconference play, the team's best showing in nonconference play since going 8-1 in 2007. The Terps began the season with 10 straight wins, the best start to a season for the program since 2005.
