COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland will take on its first Big Ten East opponent of the season on Saturday, Oct. 7 when it travels to Ohio State. The game will kick at 4 p.m. ET and air on FOX, the Big Ten announced on Monday.
Maryland is off to a 2-1 start with wins over Texas and Towson. Wide receiver DJ Moore leads the Big Ten in both receptions per game (7.3) and receiving yards per game (104.3). His five total touchdowns ranks second in the league.
The Terps are coming off their first loss of the season to UCF (2-0) and will open league play this Saturday at Minnesota (3-0). The contest against the Golden Gophers will kick at noon and air on FS1.
Ohio State (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) is coming off consecutive wins over Army (38-7) and UNLV (54-21) after falling to Oklahoma (31-16) on September 9. The Buckeyes opened the year with a league win at Indiana (49-21) and host Rutgers this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
