Maryland Travels to Nittany Lion Invite

 COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's golf team will travel to University Park, Pa. this weekend to compete in the 41st annual Nittany Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State.

The Terrapins will compete Saturday and Sunday at the Penn State Blue Course.

The tournament will feature 36 holes during two rounds of play on the first day followed by an 18-hole championship round on Sunday.

Both days begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live scoring will be available here.

The Terrapins will compete against Bucknell, Delaware, Harvard, Ohio, Penn, Princeton, Seton Hall, South Florida, Yale, Rutgers, Columbia, Youngstown State and Penn State.

Last weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in Knoxville, the Terps finished fourth out of 15 teams competing. Sophomore Xiaolin Tian tied for seventh in the individual standings. She earned an overall score of 210 (68-72-70), which was three-under overall.
