LANCASTER, Pa. - The U.S. Women's National Team is hosting the Pan American Cup this week at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Lancaster, Pa. Former Terrapin Jill Witmer scored in the U.S.' game over Mexico Saturday.
Next, Team USA will take on Canada Monday at 7 p.m. They will take on Brazil Wednesday at 7 p.m. as well. Semifinals will be played Friday, with Finals played on Sunday.
Last week, the U.S. won the Hockey World League Semifinals in Johannesburg, South Africa. Witmer was named the top goal scorer of the tournament.
"We have been playing really well the last few weeks," Witmer said. "It's so exciting to play at home this week and we just want to keep pushing and growing."
