Terps Set for FIL World Cup Playoffs

GUILDFORD, England - Seventeen members of the Maryland women's lacrosse team are ready to compete in the elimination rounds of the 2017 FIL World Cup.

All 17 Terps at the World Cup compete or coach for teams that earned a top-eight seed in the Championship Division. The United States earned the top seed after going 5-0 in pool play while Canada earned the No. 2 seed, Australia the No. 3 and host England the fourth seed.

In pool play, six Terps earned match MVP honors, including Laura Merrifield '11 (England), Dana Dobbie '07 (Canada), Camilla Hayes '13 (England), Sarah Mollison '11 (Australia), Laura Warren '04 (Wales) and Brooke Griffin '16 (USA).

Quarterfinals – Wednesday, July 19
9 a.m. ET - Australia vs. Scotland
10 a.m. ET - United States vs. Israel
