BALTIMORE, Md. – The Maryland men's golf team finished the second round of the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships Saturday at the Five Farms Golf Course at the Baltimore Country Club.

Junior David Kocher leads the way for the Terrapins and is tied for 17th. In Saturday's second round, he went two-over with a 72 and owns a combined score of 143 (71-72), which is +3 overall.

Freshman Bennett Buch had a strong second round Saturday, going even with a score of 70. He owns a combined score of 147 (77-70) and is tied for 37th.

Sophomore Timothy Colanta owns an overall score of 149 (72-77), which is +9. Freshman Peter Knade has a 152 (75-77) and sophomore Justin Feldman has a score of 156 (80-76).

The teams will play the final 18 holes Sunday. They will tee-off at 8 a.m. from the first and 10th holes. For live scoring, click here.

The tournament will be played at one of the most iconic and historic country clubs in the United States in Baltimore Country Club. Established in 1898, the par-70 East Course features 96 bunkers and has received many honors including Golfweek's list of America's Top-100 Classic Courses.

In last year's Big Ten Championships in Newburgh, Ind., the Terrapins finished third of the 14 teams and went just +2 on the weekend. Kocher finished tied for sixth and Colanta tied for 14th. As a freshman in 2015, Kocher tied for third at the Big Ten Championships.

Kocher earned All-Big Ten honors in his freshman and sophomore seasons and was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on April 19 for the second time in his career.
