Terps Jump Two Spots at Big Ten Championship

MAINEVILLE, Ohio - The Maryland women’s golf team moved up two spots in the team standings Saturday at the 2017 Big Ten Championship at TPC River’s Bend.

Xiaolin Tian continues to lead the Terps with a 155 (74-81) and is tied for 36th heading into the final round Sunday. Panitta Yusabai shaved six strokes off her first round score for a 156 (81-75) and is tied for 40th.

Ludovica Scandroglio made the biggest jump for the squad, knocking nine strokes off her first round tally for a 157 (83-74). The sophomore is tied for 46th.

Seniors Alexandra Papell (82-76) and Lauren Salazar (81-79) also improved Saturday and are tied for 51st and 59th, respectively.

Ludovica Farina is tied for 70th (77-86).

The Terps wrap up the Big Ten Championship Sunday morning.
