Feldman Leads Terps at ECU Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Maryland men's golf team is tied for third after the first two rounds of the East Carolina Intercollegiate Monday Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, N.C.

The Terrapins are tied for third as a team with a score of 597 (299-298).

Sophomore Justin Feldman is tied for third in the individual standings and is +3 with a score of 147 (75-72). 

Freshman Bennett Buch is +6 with his score of 150 (74-76). He is tied for 19th. 

Junior David Kocher and sophomore Timothy Colanta are both tied for 33rd. Kocher owns a score of 152 (77-75) and Colanta picked up scores of 73 and 79 in the first two rounds.

Freshman Peter Knade is +9 with a score of 153 (78-75).

The third and final round will be played Tuesday.

The Terrapins are competing against West Virginia, Florida Gulf Coast, George Washington, High Point, Coastal Carolina, Western Kentucky, Loyola, Georgetown, Old Dominion and tournament host-East Carolina.

Brook Valley Country Club is a par-72 that covers 6,831 yards.
