COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Kevin Huerter, Anthony Cowan and Melo Trimble all scored in double figures but No. 24 Maryland ran into a hot-shooting Iowa squad Saturday and fell 83-69 at XFINITY Center.

Huerter led all Terrapin scorers with 13 points and added a team-high five assists. Cowan posted 11 points and Trimble chipped in with 10 for his  27th double-figure scoring game this season and his 18th consecutive.

It is the first three-game skid for Maryland (22-7, 10-6) since 2012.

Iowa (16-13, 8-8) was led by a pair of 20-plus point performances from Jordan Bohannon and Tyler Cook, who posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Hawkeyes shot 62 percent from beyond the arc.

The Terps honored the 2001 Final Four and 2002 National Championship teams at halftime and in a pregame 'Chat with Legends' event. Among those returning to campus to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the national title were starters from 2002 Steve Blake, Chris Wilcox, Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter and Byron Mouton. Naismith Hall of Fame coach Gary Williams was also in attendance.

Maryland will look to bounce back with a game at Rutgers on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
