RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico - The Maryland men's golf team finished up at the Puerto Rico Classic Tuesday at the Rio Mar Beach and Spa Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Sophomore Timothy Colanta shot a one-over 73 in Tuesday's final round to earn a combined score of 220 (71-76-73). He finished four-over par total and tied for 32nd.

"This was a tough week for our guys," head coach Jason Rodenhaver said. "Got off to a great start after the first round and it went downhill from there. Thought we did everything we could to get the guys prepared for this event but golf is just a funny game sometimes. My guys never gave in and I'm proud of all of them. We'll get back at it Thursday and get our lineup set for Auburn."

Freshman Bennett Buch earned a score of 75 Tuesday for a combined score of 221 (72-74-75) and tie for 36.

Freshman Peter Knade shot a 77, which was six-over, in the final round, for a score of 231 (73-81-77). Junior David Kocher earned a score of 233 (76-79-78) and sophomore Justin Feldman tallied a combined score of 234 (80-79-75).

They earned a combined team score of 900 (292-308-300) overall.
