MADISON, Wisc. -- Melo Trimble scored a game-high 27 points but No. 11 Wisconsin rallied in the second half to down No. 23 Maryland 71-60 on Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center.

Trimble led Maryland (22-5, 10-4) with his 12th 20-point contest of the year and his 25th double-figure scoring performance of the 2016-17 campaign. It also marked the junior guard’s 16th consecutive game in double figures.

It was a tale of two halves for the Terps, who held Wisconsin (22-5, 11-3) to a 28 percent clip from the field in the first half while shooting .500 from the floor through the game’s first 20 minutes.

Maryland led 33-27 at the break but Wisconsin would shoot 60 percent from the floor in the second half for the win, snapping a two-game losing skid.

Michal Cekovsky was the other Terrapin in double figures with 10 points. Trimble and Justin Jackson led the Terps on the glass with five each.

Maryland will look to bounce back when it hosts Minnesota on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at XFINITY Center.
