UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Justin Jackson posted a team-high 14 points and nine rebounds but No. 21 Maryland dropped its first road game of the season at Penn State, 70-64, on Tuesday night.
The Terps - who tied a program-record with five consecutive conference road victories heading into Tuesday’s game at Penn State – struggled from the floor, shooting 34 percent from the field and 27 percent from beyond the arc.
Maryland returns to action when it welcomes Ohio State on Saturday at 4 p.m. at XFINITY Center. The game will be shown live on ESPN. The University of Maryland will honor legendary head coach Lefty Driesell by hanging his banner in the rafters in a pregame ceremony prior to the Terps’ game against the Buckeyes.
