After landing in snowy Detroit, the Terps received a hearty welcome at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel as the Maryland Victory Song reverberated through the hallways.
Players and staff quickly unpacked their belongings before loading onto the bus for a few rounds of a new game called “fowling” at The Fowling Wearhouse in Detroit.
Fowling is designed almost identically to bowling, but instead of rolling bowling balls, players throw footballs at the pins. Naturally, the quarterbacks showcased their talents, but players like wide receiver D.J. Moore and long snapper Matt Oliveira were impressive in their own right.
The team then returned to the hotel for a few meetings before turning in for the night.
Tomorrow, players will practice at Ford Field before attending a welcome dinner at the famous Henry Ford Museum.
The Terps will face the Eagles Monday, Dec. 26, at 2:30 pm on ESPN. For more information on the Quick Lane Bowl, click here.
