COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men’s golf team will head to the East Bay Classic at Kiawah Island this weekend at the Turtle Point Golf Club. The Terps will open competition Sunday and will compete through Tuesday.
The teams will play the first round Sunday beginning with a shotgun start, followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start Monday for the second round. Tuesday’s third and final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring will be available here.
Maryland is one of 22 teams competing, including Augusta, Abilene Christian, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Gardner-Webb, Francis Marion, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Loyola, Memphis, Nebraska, Presbyterian, Radford, Rutgers, Tennessee, Troy, USC Upstate, Winthrop, Wofford and tournament-host Charleston Southern.
The Turtle Point Golf Club at Kiawah Island is a par 72 that covers over 7,100 yards.
