Coach Info:
Position: Sr. Associate AD - Development
Don Miller, who has been involved with the University in a myriad of different capacities for the past 15 years, rejoined Maryland athletics as its senior associate athletic director of development in December of 2015.

Miller originally joined Maryland in 2004 as its senior director of major gifts and transitioned into the role of assistant athletic director for development from 2006-2011. During his tenure, Miller identified, cultivated and secured four $1,000,000 gifts for facilities improvements and scholarship support for our athletic programs.

He successfully transitioned from his role in the athletic department to his role as director of development for the Robert H. Smith School of Business, and most recently assumed the responsibility of director of recruiting for University Relations since 2013.

The University of Maryland is a special place to the Miller family. Don (Class of '76) and his wife, Mariann (Class of '78), are both Terrapin alumni, in addition to their children Steve (Class of '08) and Colleen (Class of '09). Steve was a basketball manager under hall of fame coach Gary Williams for three seasons.
