NEW LONDON, N.C. – Junior Connor Tendall improved his score by six strokes to go one-under par in the second round of the ACC Men’s Golf Championship Saturday at The Old North State Club in New London, N.C. All five Terrapins took strokes off their first round scores in round two.
Tendall went five-over in Friday’s first round for a score of 77. He shot a one-under par score of 71 in Saturday’s second round to lead the Terrapins on the day. He currently sits tied for 33rd on the leaderboard. Full standings can be found at http://www.theacc.com/#!/page/championship_m-golf.
Senior Sean Bosdosh went two-over par Saturday for a score of 74. He is among the top 20 in the standings with a combined score of 145 (71-74).
Freshman Victor Fox also shot a 74 Saturday, after shooting 75 Friday. Sophomore Tom Harris recorded a score of 75 strokes Saturday, after notching 76 Friday. Senior Andrew Stein shot a 76 Saturday, after shooting a 77 Friday.
